Clothes Haul!

Helloo Everybody!

I recently did a bit of shopping and thought I'd take some snaps and share them with you!

First of all is this very cute and comfy jumper! I was instantly drawn to this, as a person who loves cats, so just had to buy it! I can not get over how cute this jumper is! SERIOUSLY! Also the inside material is so soft it's amazing definitely for these cold months here in the UK.
£14.99 from Newlook

The next are these pair of jeggings. Now I have w never really been a big jegging wearer but now, wow, I am a complete convert! These are so comfy and I seriously have been wearing these non stop. CRAZY.
£13.99 from Newlook(they are blue, silly camera)

Next is this top/jumper, I love this it's so pretty and suprisingly the material on the outside is velvety. I got 2 sizes bigger than I would normally go for because I wanted it to be baggy but obviously this is up to you. Also make sure you wear it with a vest top or two underneath because it's completely see through.
£8.00 from Primark

Then there is this top from forever 21 and I'm in love. It's the most flattering, for me, design ever! It's lovley and as this was my very first time purchase, from Forever 21, I'm in love.
£10.50 from Forever 21

Finally there is this pretty purple dress. It was recently my birthday so I invited about 20 people over for a house party and wore this. It's comfy and a nice fit however the belt was not good quality, not that I was expecting it to be, so I swapped it with another black belt.

So that was my haul! I'm sorry I haven't been blogging in a while but it's been a busy week but I have some exciting things coming up and I'm going to try and get into a routine so bare with me! I hope your all doing great and had a good weekend.

None really! Do fashion blogs count?

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Review

Halloooo Everybody!
Today I am going to be reviewing the famous foundation around the beauty bloggers, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. I have been using this for about 12 days now so I think I can do a full review on my thoughts.

I should probably first state that I have oily skin and I think this foundation is meant to be for dry or normal skin but don’t quote me on that! However saying that I FREAKIN’ LOVE IT!:D

The foundation I was previously using before this was the famous Revlon Colourstay which I love and trust completely but this is a nice alternative and now I know I can where a lighter foundation when (hopefully) the weather starts to warm up.

I don’t know about the claims it makes on the bottle about the Fruit therapy and whether it stays on for 16hours because I generally don’t wear make-up for that long and if I know I’m going to I tend to go for my Revlon Colourstay because I know it is going to stay that amount of time but maybe one day in the near future I’ll test it and let you know!

I also have spot-prone skin(not acne, just pimples – hate that word!), being a teenager and this foundation gives me really nice coverage! I usually break out around my T-Zone and you can definitely build the coverage with this medium coverage foundation.

I generally apply this foundation all over with my hands and neck and then start to work on areas that need more coverage. At the end of this process and applying concealer it leaves me with a lovely glowy look which I then powder down – I hate having oily skinL.

I have this in the colour 53 Beige Clair but I think I could have gotten away with 52 Vanille Clair. Also if you’re wondering, number 53 in this foundation, is the equivalent to 180 sand beige in the Revlon Colourstay. Overall great foundation that I would probably recommend to all skin types! Hope this helped and Have a great day!
RRP:£9.99

How I Clean My Make-Up Brushes - Part 2

Halloooo Everybody!
Hope you’ve all had a lovely day and enjoy me telling you how I deep clean my make-up brushes. In general I only deep clean my face brushes like; powder, bronzer, blush etc. because I never really see the point in deep cleaning eye brushes because I find using my daily brush cleaner on them enough.

As I said in part 1 the products that I use are available in Europe, America, Canada and Australia however this is the product that I meant you could get a very similar product atleast. This is because I use ASDA little angels conditioning shampoo but I am positive that you will be able to get a gentle/baby shampoo wherever you live!
ASDA little angles shampoo
(sorry for the poor quality)

The steps I take are again simple:
1)      Lie down a few pieces of tissue (old tea towels and a muslin cloth will also work great – just put them in the wash after)
2)      Put your shampoo into a dish or plate or anything similar. (I myself use the top of the Pringles packaging-resourceful (; )
3)      Dab your brushes into the shampoo avoiding the handle which may cause the glue to loosen
4)      Swirl it into the tissue, tea towel, muslin cloth etc
5)      I then repeat it these steps
6)      Wash them in cold/lukewarm water
7)      Leave them to dry

Hope this helped and feel free to leave a comment!

How I Clean My Make-Up Brushes - Part 1

Haloooo Everybody!
Today I just wanted to tell you how I clean my brushes for only three pounds and ninety two pence! As far as I know you can get these products in Europe, America, Canada and Australia! Or a very similar product at least.

I only use two products and as far as I know it does work for my brushes. If you are interested I only own NO7(BOOTS BRAND) and E.L.F brushes. I’m on the edge of buying some MAC brushes but as I don’t really wear eyeshadow everyday, just for special events, I’m not sure. However I am defenitley going to buy some Real Technique by Samantha Chapman face brushes and maybe eye brushes.
E.L.F Daily Brush Cleaner

Moving on, the product I use for spot cleaning my brushes is E.L.F Daily Brush Cleaner which in the UK retails for £2.45. The steps I do are simple:
1)Lay out a clean tissue
2) Spray a bit of the cleaner on all areas of the brush
3) Rub into the tissue and watch the product come off
4) Repeat if you feel needed.

Simple!

I hope this helped and tomorrow I will do about how I deep clean my brushes.

Mini Boots Haul

Now just remember this is a mini haul as stated above in the title so I only have 5 products to show you! Also  I do not expect you to read the whole thing just maybe some products you're interested in!
Soap and Glory: Clarity Face Soap, The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser and Pore Scrub your nose in it
Then from 17: Lip Liner and Blush and Glow.

The Clarity Face Soap is actually the only product that I went into Boots to repurchase but then I saw the 3 for 2 offer and started to add a few things to my basket. This is a gentle face wash to use to take of your make-up or just cleanse your skin! For me I use this first to get of my make-up and it does a really good job of getting off most of the grime!
£7.00

I have put off buying scrub your nose in it for a few months now but I am really excited to try it tonight. This product also clams you can use it pore purifying mask by applying a thin layer on skin and leaving it for an extra 3 minutes. BONUS!
£7.40
This is probably the product that I am most excited about trying! On blogs and youtube, I always here people rave about the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish which is out of reach as I don't live near a John Lewis and I am not willing to spend £3+ for delivery so maybe this will be an equivalent? I hope so!
£10.00

Firstly sorry about the flash in this picture! I got this blush free because I had a 17 coupon that said if I bought  any 17 make-up product you got a free blush and glow! YAY! I have read the reviews on this and there is a mixture but I'm really hoping I like it! On the photo, the white part is a highlighter and the pink is a blush. I haven't really used a highlighter before either so I am looking forward to trying this out. I have it in Strawberry Swirl.
£3.99

This is the product that I bought to get Blush & Glow free. It's a lovely lip liner and it's just a wearable pink. Not too bright, not to nudey,(if that makes sense) just a nice shade of pink. I have it in the colour Valentine. Quite appropriate as it's valentines day in 9 days!
£2.59

Thankyou for reading, let me know if you have tried any of the products and please feel free to leave a comment.
